Pedestrian fatally struck in southeast Las Vegas

A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in southeast Las Vegas Saturday night.

The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Boulder Highway, north of Broadbent Boulevard, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said a 2008 Toyota 4Runner was traveling north on Boulder Highway when a woman crossed Boulder Highway outside of a marked crosswalk and was struck by the Toyota. She died on the scene.

The driver remained on the scene and did not show signs of impairment, according to police.

No further information was available.
