Coroner identifies man killed in central valley crash Friday

The Clark County coroner has identified the man who died after a medical episode caused him to crash his car in the central valley Friday.

Brett Alan Carson, 52, died at University Medical Center after his vehicle crossed into opposing lanes about 9 a.m. Friday and struck another vehicle in the intersection of South Valley View Boulevard and West Sahara Avenue.

The Clark County coroner determined Carson’s death was caused by the medical episode and that the collision wasn’t a factor. His death won’t be counted as a traffic fatality.

The driver of the other vehicle in the crash wasn’t injured.
