Rain tapers off Friday, dry weekend ahead in Las Vegas Valley

Dry days are ahead for the Las Vegas Valley, according to the National Weather Service.

The high on Saturday should hit 60 degrees and 59 degrees on Sunday. Patches of fog caused by Friday’s wet weather will burn off by Saturday morning, said meteorologist Reid Wolcott.

Skies in the valley are expected to be mostly sunny for the rest of the weekend.

The weather will remain fairly dry until late next week, when a slight chance of rain could creep into the valley on Thursday or Friday, Wolcott said.
