Parts of Las Vegas see showers as April begins

Rain and small hail were reported across the Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Areas in Summerlin, Centennial Hills and Green Valley saw light showers Wednesday morning. One home in Centennial Hills reported 0.10 inches of rain.

Wednesday’s forecast called for a 40 percent chance of rain across the valley with a high of 59 degrees and low of 44 degrees.
Temperatures are expected to warm up Thursday with a high of 64 degrees. Expect sunny and clear conditions on Friday and Saturday with highs of 70 and 73 degrees, respectively, according to the weather service.
