Las Vegas Valley residents should see plenty of sunshine and little to no wind Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
A high of 90 degrees is expected Thursday, the weather service said. Temperatures will rise slowly throughout the rest of the week and into the weekend, with 92 degrees expected for Friday, 94 degrees for Saturday and 96 degrees for Sunday.
Lows for the week should remain around 70 degrees.
Thursday winds are expected to remain below 10 mph, meteorologist John Adair said.
No rain is expected in the valley for the rest of the week, Adair said.
Although temperatures are rising back up into the high 90s, it is unlikely that temperatures will break 100 degrees again this year, Adair said.
