Sarriah Brown, Sierra Vista: The sophomore won three races and placed 14th at the Class 4A state meet in 19:27. She was seventh at the Sunset Region meet in 20:00.3.

Ryan Gilbert, Liberty
The senior won the Southeast League race at Basic, covering the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 45.8 seconds.

Sarriah Brown, Sierra Vista
The senior won the Southwest League title at Basic with a time of 18 minutes, 57.2 seconds for 3.1 miles.

Micah Bowens, Bishop Gorman
The junior quarterback had a hand in five touchdowns in leading the Gaels to a 62-7 win over Sierra Vista. Bowens completed 12 of 15 passes for 300 yards and three TDs, and had five carries for 138 yards and two scores.

The sophomore carded a 6-under-par 138 over two days to win the Desert Region individual title, and helped the Chargers win their first region team title.
