FLAG FOOTBALL: Franklin helps Cowboys outlast Desert Pines

Neshaune Franklin rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns Friday to help Chaparral's flag football team to a 33-27 win over visiting Desert Pines.

Rosa Larin rushed for 111 yards and caught two TD passes from Krystal Gomez for the Cowboys.

Desert Pines' Tanaiya Hinton rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries and caught a TD pass, and Reina Trujillo rushed for 149 yards and a score on 10 carries for the Jaguars.

Del Sol 32, Moapa Valley 6 — At Del Sol, Alina Marruffo threw two TD passes and ran for a score to lead the Dragons by the Pirates.

Marruffo completed 9 of 15 passes for 105 yards, including scoring strikes to Xolani Frazier and Estefany Gonzalez-Vargas.

Kalijah Williams ran for 103 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and returned an interception for a score for Del Sol.

Valley 34, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Valley, Esmerelda Tenorio racked up 220 yards of offense and rushed for a score to lead the Vikings by the Spartans.

Baylee Wieslander and Amanda Manresa also had rushing TDs for Valley.

Las Vegas 37, Clark 0 — At Las Vegas, Taylor Stonebarger ran for 98 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries to lead the Wildcats to victory over the Chargers.

Erika Lopez completed 12 of 17 passes for 130 yards and three touchdowns for Las Vegas.

Mojave 6, Eldorado 0 — At Mojave, Raven Williams' touchdown run in the first half accounted for all of the scoring as the Rattlers defeated the Sundevils.

Virgin Valley 32, Sunrise Mountain 6 — At Mesquite, Elizabeth DeLeon and Katie Zuniga each rushed for two touchdowns as the Bulldogs broke open a game that was tied 6-6 at the half and downed the Miners.

Legacy 32, Cheyenne 28 — At Cheyenne, the Longhorns edged the Desert Shields.

Boulder City 41, Tech 0 — At Boulder City, the Eagles routed the Roadrunners.
