FLAG FOOTBALL: Graves leads Bulldogs past Bengals

Kallie Graves threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score Tuesday to help host Virgin Valley’s flag football team to a 26-13 win over Bonanza.

Graves completed 12 of 16 passes for 182 yards.

Kaydee Bingham rushed for a score and caught two touchdown passes for the Bulldogs.

Centennial 26, Mojave 12 — At Centennial, Kiana Sai threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns as the Bulldogs topped the Rattlers.

Sai completed 17 of 23 passes, including TD passes to Talie Bonds, Bridget Beckett and Aliyah Wyrick. Bonds also ran for a score for Centennial.

Foothill 13, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, Jadyn McArthur ran for two second-half touchdowns as the Falcons blanked the Cougars.

McArthur finished 6 of 12 passing for 63 yards and ran five times for 25 yards.

Marissa Brackett ran for 64 yards on 10 carries, and Rakayla Tyler rushed for 62 yards on 10 carries for Foothill.

Cimarron-Memorial 49, Clark 7 — At Cimarron, Jaymee Luke threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns, and Rosie Del Rosario caught two touchdown passes, ran for a TD and threw for a score as the Spartans routed the Chargers.

Luke completed 15 of 18 passes and ran for 66 yards on four carries.

Logan DeLong caught 10 passes for 116 yards and two TDs, and Tiana Callejo caught four passes for 67 yards and a TD for Cimarron.

Green Valley 44, Tech 7 — At Green Valley, Isabela Cipili threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns to power the Gators past the Roadrunners.

Adelia Sigala rushed for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass, and Jinger Meuir added a rushing TD and caught a TD pass for Green Valley, which led 30-0 at half.

Carolina Vasquez caught six passes for 115 yards and a score for the Gators.

Desert Oasis 51, Western 0 — At Desert Oasis, Kylee Bauer threw five touchdown passes as the Diamondbacks routed the Warriors.

Bauer completed 12 of 20 passes for 193 yards. Kaelyn Bennett and Shonda Badayos each caught two TD passes and ran for a score, and Sydni Aldan also hauled in a scoring pass.

Izriah Hodson rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

Boulder City 72, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, the Eagles routed the Cowboys.

Class 4A: Deborah Grant rushes Green Valley to championship

Deborah Grant ran for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries to twice lead the Gators to a 14-13 victory over Bonanza in the Class 4A state flag football championship game on Monday.

Class 3A: Team effort lifts Del Sol to first state title

Stephanie Tewart tossed two touchdown passes to Janeth Varela to help the Dragons to a 19-6 win over the Bulldogs and the program’s first state title.

Flag Football title games postponed to Monday

The Class 4A and Class 3A state flag football championship games which were scheduled for Thursday and postponed until Friday have again been postponed after the Clark County School District canceled all classes and after-school activities for Friday. The games will be played Monday at Cimarron-Memorial.

Mountain Region: Third time charm for Bonanza against Palo Verde

The Bengals, who’d lost to Palo Verde twice this season, turned the tables on the Panthers in the Mountain Region championship game on Tuesday night. Bonanza got 116 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Charlene Beck to earn a 20-12 victory at Green Valley.

Desert Region: Gators knock off Coronado to claim championship

Deborah Grant rushed 21 times for 80 yards, and Jazlyn Camacho caught the go-ahead touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to help the Gators edge the Cougars, 13-6 for the Desert Region Championship at Green Valley.
