FLAG FOOTBALL: Kenadee Bailey does it all in Boulder City shutout of Arbor View

Kenadee Bailey had a touchdown run, a touchdown catch and returned an interception for a score Wednesday as Boulder City’s flag football team blanked visiting Arbor View, 25-0.

Taylor Tenney connected with Bailey on the touchdown pass and added a scoring run for the Eagles.

Alexus Pohe rushed for 129 yards on nine carries for Boulder City.

Green Valley 20, Desert Pines 0 — At Green Valley, Bella Cipili completed 7 of 13 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown, and hauled in a 29-yard TD catch to help lead the Gators shut out the Jaguars.

Deborah Grant ran for 113 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries for Green Valley, and teammate Anna Marie Arce had an interception.

Sierra Vista 31, Liberty 13 — At Sierra Vista, Kalei Watkins tossed three touchdown passes, two of them to Jamie Kalaau-Sunia, as the Mountain Lions topped the Patriots.

Kalaau-Sunia also had three interceptions for Sierra Vista, which led 17-0 at halftime.

Virgin Valley 32, Legacy 6 — At Mesquite, Madison Cheney had 116 yards receiving, 15 tackles and an interception to carry the Bulldogs over the Longhorns.

Kallie Graves threw two touchdowns, and Dylan Bryant ran for two scores for Virgin Valley.

Deborah Grant ran for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries to twice lead the Gators to a 14-13 victory over Bonanza in the Class 4A state flag football championship game on Monday.

Stephanie Tewart tossed two touchdown passes to Janeth Varela to help the Dragons to a 19-6 win over the Bulldogs and the program’s first state title.

Flag Football title games postponed to Monday

The Class 4A and Class 3A state flag football championship games which were scheduled for Thursday and postponed until Friday have again been postponed after the Clark County School District canceled all classes and after-school activities for Friday. The games will be played Monday at Cimarron-Memorial.

Mountain Region: Third time charm for Bonanza against Palo Verde

The Bengals, who’d lost to Palo Verde twice this season, turned the tables on the Panthers in the Mountain Region championship game on Tuesday night. Bonanza got 116 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Charlene Beck to earn a 20-12 victory at Green Valley.

Desert Region: Gators knock off Coronado to claim championship

Deborah Grant rushed 21 times for 80 yards, and Jazlyn Camacho caught the go-ahead touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to help the Gators edge the Cougars, 13-6 for the Desert Region Championship at Green Valley.
