Roundup: Centennial passes by Bonanza

Daphne Boyd threw three touchdown passes to Denae Benites on Tuesday to lead host Centennial’s flag football team to a 20-8 win over Bonanza.

Alicia Kestner caught eight passes for 104 yards, including a touchdown pass from Cindylou Rasiang for Bonanza.

Durango 35, Desert Oasis 33 — At Desert Oasis, Jaden Brown rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, and teammate Tatiana Bess ran for 136 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries as the Trailblazers outlasted the Diamondbacks.

Durango’s Gabriela Corchado and Kamaile Kuhiiki each caught a TD pass from Nayeli Silva-Kahalewai, who finished 17 of 26 passing for 183 yards.

Makayla Rickard threw four touchdown passes for Desert Oasis. Ashlyn Tuss rushed for 191 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and caught a touchdown pass, and Jaid Raval caught three TD passes for the Diamondbacks.

Cimarron-Memorial 13, Palo Verde 6 — At Palo Verde, Tiarra Del Rosario threw for 300 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a score to help the Spartans top the Panthers.

Del Rosario completed 27 of 35 passes.

Dina Lee caught seven passes for 114 yards and a touchdown for Cimarron.

Shadow Ridge 18, Arbor View 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Samantha Guerra rushed for 143 yards and a score on 22 carries, and Alexis Payne had a 75-yard interception return for a TD to help the Mustangs blank the Aggies.

Mikayla Brown was 11 of 13 passing for 87 yards, including a TD pass to Bobbie Wright for Shadow Ridge.

Clark 45, Spring Valley 0 — At Clark, Jania Quinones-Teran rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries to lead the Chargers by the Grizzlies.

Jagayra Gomes threw three touchdown passes and rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on five carries for Clark.

Jaeda Centeno hauled in two touchdown passes, and Dayshiann Hawkins caught a TD pass for Clark.

Sierra Vista 19, Silverado 18 — At Silverado, Mariya Muhammad threw for 179 yards as the Mountain Lions held off the Skyhawks.

Katie Mulligan tossed three touchdown passes for Silverado. Kathleen Fonua, Maile Gardner and Brielen Aquino each caught one TD pass for the Skyhawks.
