2016-17 Beatty Boys Basketball Capsule Preview

Head coach: Steven Sullivan, third season

2015-16 record: 10-11 (4-6 Division IV Southern, seventh)

Returning lettermen (starters): Five (two)

Outlook: Five lettermen return for the Hornets, who narrowly missed out on a postseason berth last year.

“With a good group of returners from last year’s varsity and new additions, the team is looking to be more competitive in a challenging league,” Sullivan said. “This year’s team will have more leadership from its seniors who hope to reach playoffs and end the three-year drought.”
