2016-17 GV Christian Boys Basketball Capsule Preview

Head coach: Eric Rolwing, fourth season

Returning lettermen (starters): Four (two)

Top players: F Greg Fields (So.), G/F Daemein Hargrove (Fr.), G Moses Valencia (Fr.)

Outlook: The Eagles joined the NIAA as an independent this season and bring back only two starters.

Fields (3.6 points, 6.6 rebounds per game) is expected to be among the leaders on a team that hopes to build as the season goes along.

“We are very much looking forward to seeing where we stand when it comes to teams within Class 1A,” Rolwing said. “We are a very young team, with every one of our starters being an underclassman. This will allow us plenty of time to grow and develop into something pretty special over the next few years.”
