Head coach: Jack Tarango, eighth season

2016-17 record: 8-18 (1-11 Northwest, seventh)

Returning lettermen (starters): Seven (two)

Top players: F D’Eric Marlowe (Sr.), G Chris White (Sr.), C Jaylon Lee (So.)

Outlook: White (13.9 points, 3.2 rebounds per game) and Marlowe (13.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg) both were starters last season and return to guide a Longhorn team that should be more competitive.

“Legacy will be much improved talent-wise from top to bottom and will look to improve on last year’s 8-18 campaign,” Tarango said. “A mix of experience and talented youth will increase the competitiveness from a season ago and will make for an exciting 2017-18 season.”
