Las Vegas Boys Basketball 2012-2013 Capsule

Head coach: Jason Wilson, fifth season

2011-12 record: 18-9 (10-4 Southeast)

Returning lettermen (starters): Seven (two)

Top players: G Juwan Major (Sr.), F/C Aziz Leeks (Sr.)

Outlook: Major averaged 13 points, five rebounds and two assists per game, and Leeks chipped in eight points and eight rebounds per game last season.

The Wildcats have some experience back with the seven returnees, even though they lost three starters.

"Although the teams have changed in our division with realignment, for us it will be the same as past years," Wilson said. "We will have to execute, play hard and use our size as a rebounding advantage to work for a playoff spot."
