ROUNDUP: Gill, Spartan boys stun Legacy in overtime

Amani Gill had 30 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s boys basketball team rally from a 10-point deficit with 1:15 to play to stun visiting Legacy, 88-78 in overtime.

Cody Newton had 13 points, and Joe McKeller scored 11 for the Spartans. J.C. Broussard added nine points and eight rebounds for Cimarron, which scored the final 10 points of regulation and outscored the Longhorns, 17-7 in overtime.

Khari Sloane scored 16 points for Legacy, which also got 14 points from Fredrick Porter and 12 points from Donavon Gray.

Centennial 82, Bonanza 69 — At Centennial, Marcus Allen poured in 33 points, and Malcolm Allen added 17 points to power the Bulldogs past the Bengals.

Khalil Thompson supplied 12 points, and Eddie Davis had 10 points for Centennial, which used a 28-17 second quarter to pull away.

Cameron Ladson compiled 32 points, and Rio Justice Chandler contributed 15 points to lead Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 94, Desert Oasis 54 — At Desert Oasis, Stephen Zimmerman scored 13 points to lead a balanced scoring attack of 13 scorers as the Gaels downed the Diamondbacks.

Noah Robotham supplied 12 points, and teammates Chase Jeter and Rashad Muhammad had 11 points apiece for Bishop Gorman, which stormed out to a 48-28 halftime lead.

Juliano Rosario led Desert Oasis with 12 points.

Pahrump Valley 54, Western 49 — At Western, Quon Cotton and Dalton Beighley each scored 17 points to help the Trojans edge the Warriors.

Pahrump outscored Western 20-6 in the second quarter to take a 29-14 halftime lead.

Travis Dunn had 15 points, and Aldo Arpero added 11 points for Western, which only made 10 of 23 free throws. Pahrump shot 11 of 13 from the free-throw line.

Clark 60, Cheyenne 54 — At Cheyenne, Diontae Jones led a balanced attack with 12 points, and the Chargers built a 38-19 halftime lead and held off the Desert Shields.

Sir Washington added 11 points, and Malcolm Davis scored 10 for Clark.

Jas Coulson had 11 points, and Edward Shaw tallied 10 points for Cheyenne.

Desert Pines 78, Virgin Valley 47 — At Desert Pines, Coby Myles scored 17 points, and teammate Re’meake Keith added 16 points to help lead the Jaguars to victory over the Bulldogs.

Julian Jacobs supplied 15 points, and Jesse Martin had 14 points for Desert Pines, which jumped out to a 46-18 halftime lead.

Tyson Teerlink scored 20 points to lead Virgin Valley, which got 13 points from Dee Bowler and 12 points from Garrett Leavitt.

Chaparral 64, Boulder City 44 — At Chaparral, Patrick Savoy had 19 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots as the Cowboys downed the Eagles.

Jared Celestine scored 11 points for Chaparral. Boulder City’s Kaleb Bailey led all scorers with 23 points.

Tech 44, Moapa Valley 38 — At Tech, Bryan Catenza scored 18 points to lead the Roadrunners past the Pirates.

Justin Hughes and Lance Hilton scored 11 points apiece for Moapa Valley, which fell short with a late rally.

Mountain View 70, The Meadows 67 — At The Meadows, T.J. Kissinger scored  21 points, and the Saints rallied from a 56-44 deficit after three quarters to nip the Mustangs.

Jacob Lee added 13 points, and Adonis Morris scored 11 for Mountain View, which got 10 points from Matt Larson.

Eric Hirsberg paced The Meadows with 21 points. Brandon Rufty had 14 points, and Matt Biafore scored 13 for the Mustangs, who got 11 points from Brian Fridman.

Lake Mead 75, Laughlin 36 — At Laughlin, Justin Yamzon led four double-figure scorers with 19 points as the Eagles routed the Cougars.

Brendan LeBaron added 17 points, and Wesley Brule had 15 points for Lake Mead, which got 10 points from Caleb Pitman.

A.J. Nelson paced Laughlin with 10 points.

Spring Mountain 59, Beatty 38 — At Saville Middle School, Chris Munro scored 13 points to lead the Golden Eagles to a win over the Hornets.

Develle Williams had 11 points, and Steven Burks added nine points for Spring Mountain, which jumped out to a 32-18 halftime lead.

Jake Zamora led Beatty with 18 points.

Sandy Valley 55, Indian Springs 14 — At Indian Springs, James Rau scored 14 points and the Sidewinders sailed past the Thunderbirds.

Lane Eastham chipped in 12 points for Sandy Valley, which led 36-8 at the half.

Donald Watkins and Victor Gaucin paced Indian Springs with six points apiece.

Round Mountain 57, Mineral County 43 —
At Round Mountain, Serjio Chavez had 30 points and 11 rebounds as the Knights tamed the Serpents.

Mitchell Doheny added 16 points for Round Mountain, which led 41-22 at the half.

Jared Keuhey led Mineral County with 14 points.
