ROUNDUP: Gosse goes deep, leads The Meadows to win

Garrett Gosse hit five 3-pointers en route to 38 points as The Meadows’ boys basketball team rallied for a 74-71 home victory over Lutheran South (Texas) on Friday.

Gosse had nine points in the fourth quarter as the Mustangs outscored Lutheran South 22-17 to get the win.

Austin Brown added 14 points and Max Newman had 12 for The Meadows.

Cimarron-Memorial 68, Green Valley 60 — At Cimarron, Deijon Spillers had 16 points, 11 rebounds and eight blocked shots to lead the Spartans past the Gators.

Erik Brewer added 18 points, and Christian Brown scored 12 for the Spartans.

Keiannte Wilkins paced Green Valley with 20 points. Austin Tebbs added 13 points, and Brandon Hoisington scored 12 for the Gators.

Valley 79, Del Sol 62 — At Del Sol, Christian Kessee hit all nine of his free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter and finished with 27 points to lead the Vikings to a win over the Dragons.

Jarrett Coleman added 10 points for Valley.

Tareg Omer scored 19 points to lead Del Sol, which was outscored 29-15 in the second quarter. David Day had 15 points for the Dragons.

Faith Lutheran 67, University (Calif.) 52 — At Irvine, Calif., Greg Thomas had 18 points and seven rebounds to help the Crusaders cruise to victory.

Brett Lubbe had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Faith Lutheran, which led 38-23 at halftime. Teammate Joe Portero added 11 points.

Eldorado 95, Boulder City 35 — At Boulder City, Curtis Stewart led six double-figure scorers with 24 points as the Sundevils bolted to a 30-8 first-quarter lead and routed the Eagles.

Jeremiah Hamilton added 16 points, and Markeith Floyd scored 12 for Eldorado. Demetrus Crawford had 11 points, and DaQuan Thrower and D.J. Billingsley each scored 10 for the Sundevils.

Michael Hernandez led Boulder City with 10 points.
