Roundup: Cimarron-Memorial rolls past Las Vegas
Yesenia Wesley-Nash led all scorers with 24 points Monday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s girls basketball team to a 65-33 home victory over Las Vegas High.
Elise Young added 23 points for the Spartans, who led 43-10 at the half.
Xeda Regala led Las Vegas with 20 points.
Centennial 79, Faith Lutheran 22 — At Faith Lutheran, Taylor Bigby led all scorers with 20 points as the Bulldogs rolled past the Crusaders.
Kalyn Miller added 13 points, and Jessenia Lawson scored 12 points for Centennial. The Bulldogs led 16-3 after one quarter and used a 29-2 third-quarter run to pull away.
Skye Landaz led Faith Lutheran with seven points.
