Bishop Gorman junior quarterback Micah Bowens will play college football at Penn State, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday night.
His commitment is non-binding and won’t be official until he signs a national letter of intent in December or next February.

The 6-foot-1-inch, 180-pound Bowens had scholarship offers from North Carolina, West Virginia, Nebraska, Duke and Arizona among others. He passed for 2,770 yards, 29 touchdowns with eight interceptions for the Gaels in 2018 while adding 927 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 100 attempts.
He was named to the Review-Journal’s all-state first team.
