Gorman’s Ali Walsh claims Gatorade award

Bishop Gorman running back Biaggio Ali Walsh was named the Gatorade Nevada Football Player of the Year on Thursday.
Ali Walsh has rushed for 2,187 yards and 30 touchdowns this season in helping the Gaels return to the Division I state championship game.
Ali Walsh has averaged 12 yards per carry and also has caught three TD passes.
Gorman (14-0) plays Liberty (11-1) at noon Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium for the championship.
