Wallace, Saints win at Lincoln to claim first place alone

Travis Wallace rushed for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to Elijah Armstrong to help Mountain View’s football team gain sole possession of first place in the Division III Southern League with a 28-12 victory at Lincoln County on Friday night.

Jacob Duldulao and Matthew Larson also ran for TDs for the Saints (8-1, 7-0), who outscored the Lynx (7-2, 6-1) by a score of 14-0 after halftime.

"The defense did a fantastic job shutting a fantastic (Lincoln County) offense down," Mountain View coach Mike Valenzuela said.
