BOYS SOCCER: Joel Sanchez guides Desert Pines to a 3-2 win over Mojave

Joel Sanchez scored two goals Thursday to lead Desert Pines’ boys soccer team to a 3-2 home win over Mojave.

Eduardo Velazquez scored for Desert Pines, and Erick Santillan had an assist.

Adrian Perez and Chris Reyes each scored a goal for Mojave, and Olsen Bonilla had an assist.

Centennial 2, Arbor View 1 — At Arbor View, Adrian Martinez scored both of the Bulldogs’ goals in the win over the Aggies.

Jacob Garcia had an assist for Centennial.

Gabriel Lopez scored Arbor View’s goal, assisted by Christian Limon.

Eldorado 2, Rancho 0 — At Eldorado, Bryant Juarez scored two second-half goals to carry the Sundevils over the Rams.

Mario Rocha assisted on both goals.

Isaac Hernandez-Paez and Richardo Salas combined for the shutout.

Legacy 3, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Eduardo Gamino, Angel Acosta and Brandon Adams scored to lift the Longhorns over the Crusaders.

Brock Hagee scored for Faith Lutheran.

Las Vegas 0, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Wildcats and Pioneers each had five shots on goal in a scoreless draw.

Chris Sosa made five saves for the Wildcats.

Felix Dominguez-Vera had three saves for Canyon Springs, and Gabrial Acosta had two.

Adelson School 1, Boulder City 0 — At Adelson School, Jalen Pitts’ early second-half goal gave the Lions the victory over the Eagles.

Liddor Bega assisted Pitts’ goal.

Goalkeeper Madison Bahel recorded eight saves in the shutout for the Lions.

Palo Verde 5, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Shadow Ridge, Timothy Stephens scored four goals as the Panthers topped the Mustangs.

Henry Robledo-Matadamas had a goal and an assist, Anthony Kaskie added an assist, and Presten Manthey added three assists for the Panthers.

Jack Guynn and Chase Castro each had a goal and an assist for the Mustangs.

Cimarron-Memorial 5, Clark 0 — At Cimarron, Arturo Bahena scored two goals, and Dresdan Quackenbush had three assists in the Spartans’ rout of the Chargers.

Erick Cuevas and Edgar Carrillo-Nunez both had a goal and an assist for Cimarron, and Marco Mejia also scored.

Dylan Crosby-Moghadam made two saves to record the shutout.

Western 6, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Juan Estrada had a hat trick, and David Ginsburg added two goals as the Warriors routed the Trojans.

Juan Arredondo-Alvarez had a goal and two assists for Western. Miguel Sierra, Leonel Acosta-Trevizo and Christian Macias each had an assist.

Jose Anaya recorded the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 13, Cheyenne 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Musio Jimenez-Vazquez had four goals and an assist, and Jose Arreola had a hat trick with two assists as the Miners rolled the Desert Shields.

Jonso Jimenez-Vazquez had two goals and an assist, Freddy Plazola had two goals, and Johnny Pedraza and Edwin Hernandez each had a goal and an assist for Sunrise Mountain.

Angel Arreola had four assists for the Miners.

Marcos Plata made two saves in the shutout.
