BOYS SOCCER: Miranda, Cowboys down Del Sol

Omar Miranda had a goal and an assist Friday as Chaparral’s boys soccer team topped visiting Del Sol, 2-0.

Jose Morales also scored for the Cowboys.

Josh Rodriguez made seven saves to earn the shutout.

Desert Pines 1, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Oswaldo Medina’s goal with six minutes left in the match allowed the Jaguars to tie the Bulldogs.

Moises Medina scored in the first half for Virgin Valley.

Sunrise Mountain 9, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Ivan Enciso and Jose Arreola each had two goals and an assist as the Miners routed the Pirates.

Musio Jimenez-Vazquez had a goal and two assists, and Hector Garibay added a goal and an assist for Sunrise Mountain, which also got goals from Ismael Arambula, Julian Herrera and Jonso Jimenez.

Adrian Zacarias and Cesar Venegas combined on the shutout.

Tech 9, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Eduardo Gomez had two goals and an assist, and Eduardo Sanchez had a goal and three assists as the Roadrunners routed the Eagles.

Chris Montiel, Joel Velazquez and Hunter Kilgore each added a goal and an asssist, and Jaime Diaz, Francisco Garcia and Victor Casillas also scored for Tech, which got two assists from Asish Pandey.

Tyler Harvey was credited with the shutout.
