BOYS SOCCER: Sunrise Mountain rallies in second half to down Eldorado

Musio Jimenez-Vazquez supplied three goals and an assist, and Sunrise Mountain’s boys soccer team overturned a one-goal halftime deficit to beat visiting Eldorado 5-3 on Thursday.

Jose Arreola had two goals for Sunrise Mountain, which got assists from Ivan Enciso and Caesar Oritz.

Andres Mendoza, Mario Rocha and Angello Jorquera scored for Eldorado, which led 3-2 at halftime.

Del Sol 2, Coronado 1 — Ruben Ortiz had a goal and an assist in the first half, and the Dragons held on to beat the Cougars.

Diego Nieves also scored for Del Sol, which led 2-0 at halftime. Diego Flores-Diaz assisted on Ortiz’s goal.

Brock Rideout scored on an assist from Justin Irungaray for Coronado.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Palo Verde 1 — At Palo Verde, Dresdan Quackenbush scored two second-half goals to lead the Spartans past the Panthers.

Arturo Bahena scored with one minute remaining in the first half for Cimarron to tie the game at 1-1.

Edgar Carrillo-Nunez had two assists, while Jonathon Ornelas also had an assist for the Spartans.

Presten Manthey scored for Palo Verde on a free kick.

Centennial 6, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Centennial, Tyler Rogge scored twice for the Bulldogs as they cruised by the Crusaders.

Robert Huerto had a goal and an assist, and Manny Lopez, Caden Usiak scored for Centennial, which also benefited from an own goal.

Jesus Vargas had three assists for the Bulldogs, and Adrian Martinez added an assist.

Jacob Mays made one save in the shutout.

Shadow Ridge 2, Legacy 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Chase Castro and Jack Guynn netted second-half goals to lift the Mustangs past the Longhorns.

Jake Anderson made three saves to earn the shutout.

Edoardo Turrini and Harrison Ferrante added assists for Shadow Ridge.

Chaparral 4, Foothill 0 — At Chaparral, Juan Romero made eight saves, and Omar Miranda had two goals as the Cowboys shut out the Falcons.

Miguel Mendoza and Gerardo Wence each had one goal for Chaparral, which led 1-0 at halftime.

Gerrardo Perieda had the lone Cowboys assist.

Silverado 3, Valley 1 — At Silverado, Jaime Ayala scored twice and added an assist to lift the Skyhawks over the Vikings.

David Matias-Flores also scored for Silverado, and teammate Jaden Mohler had an assist.

Josh Cloyd scored for Valley, assisted by Adam Felipe Dumo.

Las Vegas 5, Liberty 1 — At Las Vegas, Angel Cano and Noel Osorio each scored twice, and the Wildcats erupted for four second-half goals to beat the Patriots.

Mario Diaz had a goal and an assist, and Fernando Gomez and Alejandro Graciano each added two assists for Las Vegas.

R.J. Soriano scored for Liberty in the first half off an assist from Keanu Sanchez.

Rancho 4, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Jose Campos, Jesse Ayala, Anthony Candido and Arturo Revelas each scored as the Rams downed the Bulldogs.

Cuahtemoc Fisher-Venegas scored the Bulldogs goal off an assist from Pedro Osuna-Gomez.

Adelson School 7, Moapa Valley 2 — At Adelson School, Alex Sefia notched two goals, and Nevo Ziv finished with a goal and two assists as the Lions routed the Pirates.

Jalen Pitts, Dylan Soresman and Jacob Elharrar each had a goal and an assist for Adelson School, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Ethan Friedman also scored, and Roni Shain added an assist for Adelson.

Israel Rubio scored both goals for the Pirates.
