Roundup: Desert Pines takes care of Eldorado

Joel Sanchez scored two goals Wednesday as the Desert Pines boys soccer team edged visiting Eldorado, 3-2.

Erick Santillan had a goal and an assist for the Jaguars.

Roberto Gonzalez scored two goals on penalty kicks for Eldorado.

Cimarron-Memorial 1, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, George Balcazar scored the tying goal via penalty kick to help the Spartans salvage a tie with the Bengals.

Angel Zamudio scored for Bonanza.

Cimarron goalkeeper Dylan Crosby saved a penalty kick with five minutes remaining in the second half.

Las Vegas 3, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Daniel Rangel had a goal and an assist as the Wildcats defeated the Mustangs.

Sergio Aguayo and Drew Bowden each added a goal for Las Vegas.

Malik Ali scored a goal, and goalkeeper Ian Dalton made seven saves for Shadow Ridge.

Centennial 1, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Armando Gutierrez scored for the Bulldogs in their draw with the Pioneers.

Rancho 4, Legacy 0 — At Rancho, Sergio Reyes scored twice as the Rams blanked the Longhorns.

Arturo Reveles-De La Cruz and Alexis Bravo also scored for Rancho.

Oziel Serrano earned the shutout with four saves.

Sky Pointe 2, Moapa Valley 0 — At Sky Pointe, Sebastian St. Jules made 15 saves to preserve the Eagles’ shutout over the Pirates.

Steven Obi had a goal and an assist for Sky Pointe, and teammate Aden Bunch had a goal.

Palo Verde 6, Arbor View 0 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers scored five first-half goals to run away form the Aggies.

Greg Cook, Anthony Kaskie, Bryan Montoya, Tanner Stevenson, Antonio Gomez and Cole Wener each scored once for Palo Verde.

Hudson Huckfeldt had two saves in the shutout for Palo Verde.

Western 5, Del Sol 1 — At Western, Gustavo Sanchez scored twice to lift the Warriors over the Dragons.

Andy Rodriguez, Bryan Jimenez and Mauricio Muniz scored for Western.

Diego Montes scored Del Sol’s goal.

Faith Lutheran 8, Cheyenne 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Abigay Gomez had four goals in the Crusaders’ victory over the Desert Shields.

Raymond Blake Millero had two goals and two assists, Jack Cowan had a goal and an assist and Ari Sirvent had a goal for Faith Lutheran.

Landon Amick made six saves in the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 7, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Jonzo Jimenez-Vasquez had four goals and three assists to help the Miners rout the Bulldogs.

Luis Luna, Angel Arreola and Branson Suarez each added a goal for Sunrise Mountain.

Cristian Morales had two saves for the Miners to get the shutout.

Chaparral 8, Boulder City 0 — At Chaparral, Bryan Macias had four goals and two assists to help lead the Cowboys defeat the Eagles.

Kenny Rosales had two goals and two assists for Chaparral.

Jordin Lemus had two goals for the Cowboys.

Pahrump Valley 9, Somerset-Losee 1 — At Pahrump, Jose Chavez had three goals and an assist to lead the Trojans past the Lions,

Pahrump’s Christian Gonzalez, Isai Gomez, Christopher Briscoe, Isaak Cruz-Santos, Abraham Alvarez, Fernando Martinez-Fontana and Bernardo Aguilar each scored, and teammate Alvaro Garcia had four assists.

Bernardo Aguilar scored for Somerset-Losee.
