ROUNDUP: Pellegrino’s late goal lifts Diamondbacks past Cheyenne

Talia Pellegrino scored the winning goal with eight minutes left in the match Thursday, lifting Desert Oasis’ girls soccer team to a 2-1 home win over Cheyenne.
Megan Stanton also scored for the Diamondbacks.
Deborah Chinchilla tallied the Desert Shields’ goal.
Centennial 1, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Tyndall Taylor’s goal off a broken play in front of the Rancho net was the difference as the Bulldogs edged the Rams.
Emily Murzinski and Natalie Gilbertson combined on the shutout.
Las Vegas 4, Del Sol 0 — At Las Vegas High, Yesenia Gex had two goals to help the Wildcats top the Dragons.
Sarah Cook and Emilee Owen also scored for Las Vegas.
Carrie Orozco was in goal for the shutout for the Wildcats.

Silverado 5, Durango 0 —
 At Silverado, the Skyhawks got goals from five different players in a rout of the Trailblazers.
Elyssa Gallenbeck, Courtney Anderson, Erika Feltz, McKenzie Brown and Evelyn Garcia each scored for Silverado.
Katelyn Comeno and Brittni Curry combined on the shutout.
Tech 13, Chaparral 0 — At Tech, Rachael Montoya racked up seven goals and an assist as the Roadrunners rolled past the Cowboys.
Alex Guzman and Maci Fix each had a goal and three assists for Tech, which also got goals from Susan Melian, Makala Lemley, Evelyn Lopez and Maria Carillo.
Lemley was in goal for the shutout.
Clark 8, Desert Pines 1 — At Clark, Nicole Plecko tallied two goals and four assists as the Chargers blitzed the Jaguars.
Kenna Turner and Rachel Soohoo each had two goals, and Kristin Hoag and Amanda Vallejo each scored a goal for Clark.
Cristina Ibarra notched Desert Pines’ goal.
Eldorado 0, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, the Sundevils and Mountain Lions battled to a scoreless tie.
Chynna Hartmann and Nias Olaiz combined on the shutout for Eldorado, and Tina Tyner posted the shutout for Sierra Vista.

3A girls: Ava Seelenfreund’s hat trick seals Pahrump’s fate

Ava Seelenfreund finished with a hat trick and an assist as the Wolverines overwhelmed Pahrump Valley 7-0 to advance to the state championship game at noon Saturday against South Tahoe (24-2).
