Coronado senior Danielle Amato made an oral commitment to play softball at Kutztown University (Pa).
Amato led the Cougars in batting average (.396), home runs (seven) and RBIs (52) as a junior, and also went 15-7 with a 1.97 ERA as Coronado captured the Southeast League title.
Kutztown went 37-22 last season and advanced to the NCAA Division II national championship game.
