ROUNDUP: Johnson’s no-hitter lifts Coronado over Boulder City

Jaiden Johnson fired a no-hitter and homered and doubled Wednesday to lead Coronado’s softball team to a 6-0 victory at Boulder City.

Durango 18, Clark 1 — At Durango, Dallas Boyce and Kennedy Gallegos combined on a five-inning no-hitter as the Trailblazers blitzed the Chargers.

Durango took advantage of nine walks and nine hit batters and had only four hits.

Cheyenne 17, Canyon Springs 9 — At Cheyenne, Taylor Cole had four RBIs and three runs scored to lead the Desert Shields past the Pioneers.

Vanessa Sanders doubled twice, and Rodejia McNeal supplied two RBIs and a run for Cheyenne, which used a nine-run fourth inning to pull away.

Ciera Berkemeyer went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a three-run homer for Canyon Springs.

Liberty 8, Bonanza 4 — At Liberty, Hannah Freer went 3-for-4, and Hayley Freestone was 2-for-4 with a double to help the Patriots top the Bengals.

Caitlyn Lloyd went 2-for-4 with a double for Bonanza.

Legacy 12, Eldorado 5 — At Eldorado, Gabby Rinker hit a triple and a home run to power the Longhorns past the Sundevils.

Alysia Santos was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored, and Kiani Elia-Mendiola had two doubles for Legacy.

Sabrina Summers went 2-for-3 and scored once for the Sundevils.

Basic 14, Sierra Vista 7 — At Sierra Vista, Jessica Pittman went 3-for-5 with a home run and three runs, and Amber Long was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs to lead the Wolves over the Mountain Lions.

Rachel Snyder was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs for Basic.

Sierra Vista’s Angel Love went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and two runs, and Kira Felise also homered for the Mountain Lions.

Sunrise Mountain 13, Virgin Valley 9 — At Sunrise Mountain, Brittany Miller and Sydni Beuchat each went 2-for-3, and the Miners used a seven-run fifth inning to rally past the Bulldogs.

Moapa Valley 20, Chaparral 4 — At Chaparral, Haley Nielson was 2-for-3 with two walks and three runs and pitched a five-hitter to lead the Pirates to the five-inning win.

Moapa Valley, which scored 10 runs in the top of the first, took advantage of 13 walks.

Tech 22, Desert Pines 5 — At Desert Pines, Jordyn Roark was 2-for-2 with a home run, four runs and two RBIs as the Roadrunners topped the Jaguars in five innings.

Jamison Bascom was 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs, and Jasmine Ramos went 2-for-2 with two runs and three RBIs for Tech, which took advantage of 18 walks.

Valley 17, Mojave 11 — At Mojave, Shannon Williams and Andrea Darby each went 2-for-2 with a double, and the Vikings used two five-run innings to slug past the Rattlers.

Ashley Persico was 4-for-4 with a home run and a double, and Jasmine Almendarez was 3-for-4 with a triple for Mojave.

Arbor View 12, Western 1 — At  Arbor View, Chelsa Baca went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Meredith Hall finished 2-for-2 with an RBI as the Aggies beat the Warriors.

Mountain View 20-21, The Meadows 4-16 — At The Meadows, Elle Germany was 4-for-6 with two doubles, four runs and two RBIs in the nightcap as the Saints rallied from a 14-2 first-inning deficit to complete a sweep of the Mustangs.

Malori Mauck was 4-for-6 with an RBI for Mountain View, which scored six runs in the top of the seventh to finish the comeback.

Nikki Lenardson was 3-for-6 with three runs in the nightcap for The Meadows.

In the opener, Rose Adkins was 3-for-5 with five runs scored and tossed a five-inning four-hitter for the Saints. Teammate Savannah Alley was 2-for-4 with three runs.

Amanda Hansen was 2-for-3 for The Meadows.
