Roundup: Las Vegas handles Eldorado

Shaun Kampshoff had eight kills and 16 assists to lead Las Vegas High’s boys volleyball team to a 25-13, 25-20, 25-23 road victory over Eldorado.

Leander Gates had six kills and eight digs, and Francisco Palacios had 10 digs for the Wildcats.

Adrian Evans had 10 kills, two aces and two digs to lead the Sundevils.

Ivan Povalin had three kills and two blocks, and Dahlton Stack had two kills and three digs for Eldorado.

Basic 3, Green Valley 0 — At Basic, Skylar Freitas supplied 11 kills in the Wolves’ 25-14, 25-18, 25-21 sweep of the Gators.

Taulima DeVoux had seven digs, and Dallas Green added four blocks for Basic.

Tanner Webb led Green Valley with five kills and five blocks.

Durango 3, Coronado 0 — At Durango, Tai Foster had 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks while helping the Trailblazers to a 30-28, 25-15, 25-19 win over Coronado.

Tim Kedrowski had eight kills, eight assists, seven digs and four blocks for Durango, and teammate Jovan Lubura had four kills, two blocks and two digs.

Ben Bloss had 14 kills, four aces and four assists for Coronado.

Silverado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Tyler Olson had five kills and four aces to lead the Skyhawks to a 25-10, 25-15, 25-22 sweep of the Pioneers.

Bravyn Aquino had 25 assists and three aces, and Sean Borla added 18 digs for Silverado.

Alonso Casillas had eight blocks, and Sho Hampton had three kills to lead the Pioneers.

Del Sol 3, Tech 0 — At Del Sol, Alejandro Marin and Tyrell Hampton each had seven kills as the Dragons defeated the Roadrunners, 29-27, 25-22, 25-14.

Marin added two aces and three digs, and Hampton had three blocks. Angel Vargas added 18 assists and six digs, and teammate Alan Ramos-Flores had 16 assists and four digs for Del Sol.

Eddy Garcia led Tech with eight kills. Ossian Makin added 17 assists and seven digs for the Roadrunners, and teammate Jericho Inciong had 12 assists and four digs.

Rancho 3, Liberty 0 — At Rancho, Adali Rodriguez and Kenny Oak had eight kills apiece to lead the Rams to a 25-23, 25-21, 25-13 win over the Patriots.

Jesus Gonzalez had 30 assists for Rancho, and teammate Brennan Berti had seven kills.

Pascual Chavez had 14 kills for Liberty.

Sky Pointe 3, Western 0 — At Western, Kizhonie Blunt had six kills as the Warriors fell to the Eagles, 19-25, 10-25, 13-25.

Jason McCoy had four kills, and Bernardo Jimenez-Pascual had one kills and 15 assists for the Warriors.

Mojave 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Nathaniel Arredondo tallied 22 assists to lead the Rattlers to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-16 sweep of the Desert Shields.

Samuel Torrence had eight kills, and Tredall Blanchard-Davis added seven kills for Mojave.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Chaparral 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jerald Nicoles and Jose Manzo-Guerrero each had 13 digs to lead the Miners past the Cowboys, 25-11, 23-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Foothill 3, Valley 0 — At Foothill, the Falcons swept the Vikings, 25-14, 25-13, 25-16.
