Roundup: Sam Belnap leads Arbor View past Gorman

Sam Belnap had 38 assists and 14 digs Thursday to power Arbor View’s boys volleyball team to a 25-16, 25-18, 25-27, 25-16 win over visiting Bishop Gorman.

Jarred West had 34 digs, and Jake Reid supplied 19 kills and seven digs for Arbor View, which got four digs from Keandre Suares.

Palo Verde 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Stephen Banks had 12 kills and eight digs to lead the Panthers past the Trailblazers, 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.

Jared Brady had nine kills, Cooper Jarman had 19 assists, and Luke Johnston and 15 assists for the Panthers.

Tai Foster had seven kills and 26 digs to lead the Trailblazers.

Tyson Guild had five kills, Tim Kedrowski had four kills, 10 assists and 15 digs, and Braetin Foster had 23 digs for the Trailblazers.

Centennial 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Centennial, Andrew Shiheiber supplied 19 assists in the Bulldogs’ 25-10, 25-16, 25-6 sweep over the Grizzlies.

Austin Anderson had 12 kills, and Nahmani Brown added eight kills for Centennial.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Bonanza 0 — At Cimarron, Jameson Valencia had 15 digs, 10 kills and three aces as the Spartans swept the Bengals, 25-21, 25-14, 25-17.

Fred Tito had 19 digs, five kills and two aces for the Spartans. Jonathan Mika had 26 digs, and Alex Olson had 23 assists for Cimarron.

Mark Thuet had five kills and four digs for the Bengals. Jason Owens had five kills, and Moises Sandoval had 12 digs for Bonanza.

Shadow Ridge 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Ashton Leavitt had 12 kills to lead the Mustangs past the Diamondbacks, 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.

Tyson Mott had eight kills, and Travis Hoadley had 30 digs for Shadow Ridge.

Josh Bastin had six kills, eight assists, 14 digs and two blocks, and Liam Morrissey had five kills, three assists, 10 digs and two blocks to lead Desert Oasis.

Sierra Vista 3, Legacy 0 — At Sierra Vista, Frank Hines had 12 kills and seven digs to lead the Mountain Lions past the Longhorns, 25-22, 25-14, 25-15.

Trenton Morss had two aces and 17 digs for the Sierra Vista.

Davick Clark had seven kills, and Garrett Linell had five kills and five digs to lead Legacy.

Rancho 3, Clark 0 — At Rancho, Jesus Gonzalez notched 13 assists to help the Rams beat the Chargers, 25-10, 25-19, 25-9.

Brennan Berti had seven kills, and Kenny Oak added six kills for Rancho.

Joshua Cho and Tahja Vaughn each had five kills to lead Clark.

Roundup: Caleb Stearman helps Foothill into Desert final

Stearman’s sixth kill of the fifth set allowed the Falcons to complete a 20-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 15-11 comeback and advance to both Friday’s region final and next week’s state tournament.

Roundup: Kilmor Amor helps Spartans reach Mountain semifinals

Kilmor Amor had 15 kills, 23 assists and 10 digs Wednesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s boys volleyball team down Shadow Ridge, 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-19 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain Region Tournament at Palo Verde.
