VOLLEYBALL: Cameron leads Desert Oasis by Sierra Vista

Billy Cameron had 16 kills, three aces and two blocks Monday to help the Desert Oasis boys volleyball team to a 25-22, 20-25, 25-16, 26-24 win at Sierra Vista.

Jacob Dufour had seven kills, and Joshua Sadama added 20 assists for the Diamondbacks. Tyler Sadama had 12 assists for Desert Oasis.

Chris McCoy had nine kills and 10 digs, and teammate Jasper Cook added five kills and five blocks for the Mountain Lions.

Clark 3, Del Sol 1 — At Clark, Alan Cruz had 11 kills, 16 digs, five aces and two blocks to lead the Chargers to a 25-13, 20-25, 25-19, 26-24 victory over the Dragons.

Amir Boone added 11 kills and two blocks, and teammate Tony Martinez had 34 assists, 10 digs and two blocks for Clark.

Anthony Nehme led Del Sol with four kills and four blocks, and Blane Quitog added four kills for the Dragons.

Bonanza 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Bonanza, Robby Adair had 12 kills, seven digs, five aces and four blocks to help the Bengals to a 25-9, 25-19, 25-16 win over the Desert Shields.

Bronson Duckworth had 13 assists, and Tyler Simmons added 10 digs for Bonanza.

Devante Hammond led Cheyenne with six kills.

Desert Pines 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Carlos Flores had eight kills to lead the Jaguars over the Sundevils, 25-22, 26-24, 25-14.

Estanislao Lansangan added 22 assists for Desert Pines.

Tim Lawson led Eldorado with six aces.

All-state teams to be announced in June

All-state teams in all eight spring sports will be released one per day, beginning on June 6 with boys golf.
