ROUNDUP: Diamond, Silva help Clark sparkle
Michelle Diamond had 12 kills, and teammate Jessica Silva added 10 kills Monday as Clark’s girls volleyball team rallied for a 16-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-14, 15-9 win at Spring Valley.
Kristen Chavez added seven kills and seven aces for the Chargers.
Tori Patterson dished out 22 assists for Spring Valley. Peyton LeBlue added eight kills and three aces, and Nicole Rafay supplied six kills for the Grizzlies.
Arbor View 3, Palo Verde 2 — At Palo Verde, Lorin Rader registered 28 assists and four aces as the Aggies outlasted the Panthers, 25-22, 25-18, 22-25, 15-25, 15-11.
Erika Kelly contributed 16 digs and nine kills, and Breann Christensen had 15 digs, six aces and four kills for Arbor View.
Lauren Kannal paced the Panthers with 10 assists, nine digs and five kills. Stephanie Herman added 10 assists, six digs and four aces, and Kady Lay supplied seven kills and three digs for Palo Verde.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Toree Manumaleuna had 12 assists and eight aces to lift the Spartans to a 25-19, 25-14, 25-19 sweep of the Rattlers.
Leilani Blanco added six kills and six aces for Cimarron, and teammate Desiree Luca supplied seven digs.
Mackenzie Hart paced Mojave with seven kills, three digs and two blocks. Jasmine Pedraza added nine digs and three kills, and Jasmin Gardner had six assists for the Rattlers.
Cheyenne 3, Legacy 1 — At Cheyenne, Rebecca Lane’s seven kills and three aces helped the Desert Shields to a 25-23, 16-25, 25-21, 25-22 win over the Longhorns.
Nadine Simmons added six kills and four blocks, and Jordan McNally had five kills for Cheyenne.
Siana Tuitama had nine assists and seven kills, and teammate Mickayla Hicks supplied nine kills for Legacy.
Faith Lutheran 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Kelsey McCourt had 23 assists and 11 digs, and Vanessa Sigman added 14 kills and three aces as the Crusaders blitzed the Mustangs, 25-15, 25-13, 25-15.
Chelsea Kronschnabel supplied 12 digs and Lindsey Flangas racked up 10 digs for the Crusaders.
Destinee Beavers led Shadow Ridge with seven kills and two blocks.
Sierra Vista 3, Durango 0 — At Sierra Vista, Taylor Price racked up nine kills, nine blocks and seven aces to help the Mountain Lions to a 25-21, 25-19, 25-17 win over the Trailblazers.
Brooke Robinson added 12 kills and two blocks, and Shelby Stiles compiled five assists for Sierra Vista.
Sarah Tullis dished out 14 assists for Durango. Hailee Wilson added seven kills, and Mindy Larsen supplied six digs for the Trailblazers.
Desert Oasis 3, Western 0 — At Western, Brittney Jensen tallied 13 assists and four kills in the Diamondbacks’ 25-12, 25-16, 25-17 sweep of the Warriors.
Emily Heinz had five kills and two digs for Desert Oasis.
Bonanza 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Bree Hammel racked up 24 digs, 12 kills and four aces as the Bengals powered past the Trojans, 25-8, 25-23, 25-23.
Jessica Wilcox added 15 kills, 14 digs, four aces and four blocks, and teammate Lauren Karn distributed 28 assists for Bonanza.
Coronado 3, Tech 0 — At Coronado, Kuulei Piena had 16 kills and two aces to lead the Cougars to a 25-9, 25-8, 25-21 victory over the Roadrunners.
Katie Gamsky distributed 17 assists, and Sara Jones spiked six kills for Coronado.
Beatty 3, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson, the Hornets were 25-8, 25-23, 25-15 winners over the Lions.
Allie Baracani had seven assists and three kills, and Sivan Gavish added two kills for Adelson.
