Roundup: Tia Echols, Cheyenne defeat Canyon Springs in four sets

Tia Echols had 15 kills to lead Cheyenne’s girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-20, 17-25, 28-26 home win over Canyon Springs on Friday.

Aseret Geraldo dished out 32 assists, and Miya Burns had 16 aces for Cheyenne.

Boulder City 3, Las Vegas 0 — At Boulder City, Maggie Roe put down 18 kills to lead the Eagles to a 25-12, 26-24, 25-22 win over the Wildcats.

Kamry Bailey added 11 kills and six aces for Boulder City.

Brooklyn Stone had 17 assists, Skyla Faught had nine kills and five digs, and Victoria Barney had five kills and two aces for Las Vegas.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Valley 0 — At Cimarron, Elise Young had 11 kills, two aces, three digs and one block in the Spartans’ 25-5, 25-19, 25-8 win over the Vikings.

Michelle Mockbee added seven kills, and Destiny Garcia had 14 assists and three aces for Cimarron.

Debra Schuster had eight kills, and Krystal Carter notched four kills and five digs for Valley.

Pahrump Valley 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Kathryn Daffer had seven kills, and Madison Hansen added six kills and four aces to lead the Trojans to a 25-5, 25-16, 25-14 win over the Sundevils.

Jacquellen Stobbe had 10 assists, and Kylie Stritenberger had four assists for Pahrump Valley.

Angela Valdez led Eldorado with four kills and three blocks. Ashley Alonso had two kills and four digs, and Amber Castro had seven assists and six digs for the Sundevils.

Calvary Chapel 3, Coral Academy 0 — At Calvary Chapel, the Lions defeated Coral Academy, 25-15, 25-10, 25-14.
