A judge has reduced bail for one of two men accused of abducting, beating and robbing Javon Walker after the NFL player spent a night club-hopping in Las Vegas in June.
Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Tony Abbatangelo reduced bail from $1 million to $500,000 for Deshawn Lamont Thomas.
Thomas, 40, and Arfat Abdo Fadel, 31, are being held at the Clark County jail on felony kidnapping, robbery and conspiracy charges.
Police allege that the pair talked Walker into willingly getting into their vehicle early June 16 outside the Bellagio resort.
The Oakland Raiders wide receiver was found later, robbed and beaten unconscious on a side street off the Strip.
Thomas and Fadel are scheduled to be in court on Sept. 2 for an evidentiary hearing.
