Body found at Lake Mead identified

The body found Thursday at Lake Mead has been identified as Kenneth Ritter, 54, of Naperville, Ill., the National Park Service said Friday.

Ritter's body was found along the Arizona shoreline, near an inflatable kayak that was still inflated.

A personal flotation device was found on board, but Ritter was not wearing it. Park rangers said no cause of death was apparent.

An autopsy is pending.
