I’m always hunting for good photography Web sites, and am especially happy when I find one that includes images from regular folks using regular gear. I stumbled upon a gem today with iPhonePhoto.us. It’s name is spot-on, as the creativity on display all comes from the cameras of Apple iPhones.
I submitted three images, which aren’t yet posted. There’s no guarantee they ever will be, but that’s fine with me, as I was rewarded with the excellent photography on display. Each of the 36 pages of the gallery displays seven images. Many have links to the sites of the photographers’ work, which leads you off to other worlds of fine imagery.
The site is "gently curated" by Caleb Kimbrough, a freelance photographer and texture aficionado. His site, featuring Zen Textures is Lost and Taken (www.lostandtaken.com).
