Meltdown-prone comedian Katt Williams is raising temperatures again.
Between Aug. 20 and 27, the erratic pint-sized standup star was involved in a trio of heated events that came close to flash point, including one outside a Las Vegas hotel.
It started with a racial rant involving anti-Mexican comments while on stage in Phoenix.
Four days later, he was escorted from a Young Jeezy rap concert in Phoenix after being spotted in the middle of a melee, shirtless and pounding his chest with both fists.
On Aug. 27 Williams was at the center of a tense showdown with a process server in a valet area at Wynn Las Vegas. That occurred after his “Katt Williams & Friends” concert at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Williams told CNN on Saturday that he would apologize to anyone who took his remarks as “hateful,” but added, “I meant what I said and I said what I meant.”
Apologies, he said, were “for the Tracy Morgans of the world,” a reference to Morgan’s anti-gay remarks made on stage during a Nashville appearance.
Williams’ outburst during the Aug. 20 show came after he was heckled by a Mexican male seated near the stage.
During the extended X-rated rant, which surfaced last week on video sites, Williams referred to Mexicans as “landscapers” and took issue with those who he said “think they can live in this country and pledge allegiance to another country.”
Williams told CNN, “I don’t think I need to apologize for being pro-American.”
Process server Michael Yepko of Las Vegas said in an interview Tuesday that Williams got in his face after being served in the south valet at Wynn and the comedian’s security emptied out of two Hummers and surrounded him.
“It was pretty scary,” said Yepko, who said he will receive about $500 for his efforts.
He said the San Diego law firm that hired him had been trying to serve Williams since November in a $500,000 default case filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
