Dina Titus announced her candidacy for Nevada’s 3rd Congessional District this afternoon in Henderson, highlighting her record and criticizing incumbent Rep. Jon Porter as out of touch.
"We need some fresh air in Washington. We need some practical solutions. We need someone who’s willing to stay late, roll up their sleeves and work hard," Titus told a crowd of about 250. "I promise if you send me back there that’s exactly what I will do."
The Democratic state senator entered the race after former prosecutor Robert Daskas dropped out earlier this week.
