Ex-Reno resident killed in Colorado theater carnage coming home

The body of a former Reno resident who died in the theater shooting in Colorado is being flown home to be buried.

The family of 26-year-old Navy veteran Jonathan Blunk said his body is arriving today at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, according to a report by KOLO-TV.

A funeral is scheduled Aug. 3 at the Mountain View Mortuary.

Blunk was among 12 people killed in a movie theater in Aurora at a screening of "The Dark Knight Rises." Fifty-eight other moviegoers were wounded.

Blunk graduated from Reno's Hug High School in 2004
