Henderson festival dances to a distinct Hawaiian beat — PHOTOS

Henderson’s annual Ho’olaule’a Pacific Islands Festival, held Saturday and Sunday at the Henderson Events Plaza, celebrated Hawaiian and Pacific Islander culture.

This year’s theme was E Ho’omau Loa Aku, meaning “be the change.” Sunday’s festival included hula dancers, and other performers, island-style foods, a car show, a kids zone, arts and crafts, fine art displays, and a career and health fair.
