Man shot by owner of shop dies in hospital
An unidentified man died Friday after he was shot by a southwest valley pawnshop owner who took him for a burglar, Las Vegas police said.
The owner of the Sahara Pawn Shop, 2400 S. Jones Blvd., near Sahara Avenue, told officers he fired because he thought the man had entered the store to rob him. The shooting happened at 5:07 p.m.
