Johnny Jones of Rochester, N.Y., comes in with a 7-0 record, but facing Las Vegas-based veteran Stephan Bonnar (14-4) could be his biggest test in this light heavyweight bout.
FIRST ROUND: Jones lands a knee, then with 3:45 left he uses a left-side throw to put Bonnar on his back and follows with a few heavy fists. Bonnar gets back to his fight and Jones repeats the throw. Bonnar escapes and they’re back to stand up.

Jones in control and adds another throw. With 1:25 to go, Jones lands a big right cross that drops Bonnar. Jones takes control on the ground while Bonnar tries to regroup.

Jones resumes controlling Bonnar, who did manage a good kick. With a minute to go, the fighters are in a clinch along the fence. Bonnar, to his credit, is not backing away. Jones just seems too quick.

THIRD ROUND: Bonnar came close to getting an arm bar from the bottom, but Jones escapes and regains control.
