A 47-year-old Las Vegas man died in a rollover accident in the southwest valley on Saturday.
Las Vegas police responded about 10:15 a.m. to a single-vehicle rollover on southbound Durango Drive, south of Desert Inn Road.
The man, the sole occupant of the silver 2013 Nissan hatchback, died at the scene, according to Metro Lt. Michael Wallace.
The intersection at Desert Inn and Durango was shut down and Durango was closed to traffic in both directions between Desert Inn and Spring Mountain Road, Wallace said.
It was the 22nd fatal accident in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
The accident remained under investigation.
