Man found dead at home in bed identified

A man found dead in his home on Saturday on March Brown Avenue has been identified as William Cybulski, 35, of Las Vegas. Cybulski suffered two gunshot wounds to his head, said Las Vegas police Lt. Lew Roberts.

He was sleeping and in bed at the time of his death, Roberts said.

Police responded to the call near West Ann Road and North Cimarron Road at about 1:30 a.m. A roommate had called 911 after coming home from vacation and finding the victim's body. The roommate is not a suspect, Roberts said.

There were no signs of struggle at the residence and there appeared to be no forced entry, Roberts said.

Police believe Cybulski had been dead for a day or two before being found.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or Las Vegas police homicide at 828-3521.
