Man tries to rob bank with meat cleaver, teller laughs

Surveillance video of a bank teller laughing at a man who was trying to rob a Chinese bank with a meat cleaver last week has gone viral.
In the China Construction Bank surveillance video, the man approaches the glass where the bank teller is helping a customer and immediately holds up the meat cleaver and gets on his cell phone. The customer looks at him in confusion, grabs her things and walks away.
The man continues to press the meat cleaver to the window and the bank teller turns around to tell someone and starts laughing. Authorities then approach the man and take him to the ground.
Metro reported that according to MailOnline, the man was believed to be a psychiatric ward patient.
