Man who died in pickup rollover was Las Vegan, 36

A 36-year-old man who died Saturday after his pickup rolled was identified Monday.

Jose Manuel Faria, III, from Las Vegas, died from multiple blunt force trauma, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

Las Vegas police said the man was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram on Sunset Road west of Hinson Street in the southwest valley about 7:35 p.m. when it left the roadway and crashed through a chain-link fence and into a desert area.

The accident was the third fatality this year in the Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction.
