McCain just right for ‘Rambo’ star

Rambo is ready to cast his vote for Republican John McCain.

Sylvester Stallone, in Las Vegas for the world premiere of his fourth and last “Rambo” film, said Thursday, “Right now, I like McCain,” when asked who was his choice to be the next U.S. president.

“It’s like casting for a film,” Stallone told me. “You want the right person for the right part. And right now, with all this turmoil in the world, we need a man who is a statesman and understands the ramifications of the war.”

He added, “This is the worst time for on-the-job training.”

California’s Republican governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, joined Stallone on the red carpet at Planet Hollywood Resort, along with the “Rambo” cast.
