One person injured after motor home catches fire

A motor home near Charleston and Hollywood boulevards caught fire early Thursday morning, leaving one person with minor injuries.

Firefighters responded to calls of a house on fire just after 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a neighboring motor home next to a workshop to be the actual location of the fire, according to a Clark County Fire Department spokesman.

Arcing live wires made the job difficult for firefighters. The fire was knocked down in just under 45 minutes, officials said.

One person suffered minor injuries and was attended to at the scene.

The damage from the fire was estimated at $50,000.
