Palms Thanksgiving Day jumper identified

A man who fell to his death Thanksgiving day from the 19th floor of the Palms was identified as Fabrice Christopher Casteran.

The 25-year-old from La Quinta, Calif., was seen straddling an open window about 8:30 a.m., police said. Before officers arrived, he fell and landed on the third-floor roof, police said.

He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Clark County Coroner's Office ruled the death a suicide.
