Passenger killed, driver hurt in wreck on I-15 near Logandale

A female passenger died after the pickup she was in rolled over on Interstate 15 northeast of Las Vegas Thursday afternoon, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

The identity of the deceased woman was not released by authorities.

Trooper Chelita Rojas said the single-vehicle crash occurred about 3:45 p.m. when the pickup was headed south on the highway near mile marker 92, close to the Logandale/Overton exit.

Rojas said the woman was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene. The male driver was airlifted to University Medical Center. His condition was not released.

The crash is under investigation.
