Police investigating after man’s body found at Reno recycling center

RENO -- Police are investigating after a man's body ended up on a conveyor belt at a Reno recycling center.

Authorities say the man's body was found a little before noon Monday at the Waste Management Recycling Center on Commercial Row in Reno.

Detectives say it appears the body was in a trash container and was picked up by a recycling truck that morning. It's not clear how long the body had been in the container. Investigators are tracing the stops the truck made to determine where the body was found.

The man's identity has not yet been released. An autopsy is pending.
